File Upload

Can you please allow us to upload a file from Google Drive during a presentation? It's too time consuming to download to my desktop and upload back into Big Blue Button for a conference.

I am the product manager for BigBlueButton.  While I work at Blindside Networks, the company that provides hosting for Canvas Conferences to Instructure, and can't speak on behalf of Instructure, I can respond to your question.

It's a good suggestion, but giving BigBlueButton access to your Google Drive and transverse your files would not be an easy addition.

However, when creating a conference in Canvas, we're looking at making it possible for you to upload a presentation so that when you start the conference, it gets automatically loaded.

You would still need to download the presentation from Google Drive and upload it to Canvas, but you could do this ahead of the conference.

We don't have any timeline on the above, but we're working on making it easier for you to get presentations into BigBlueButton.
