Filter Discussion View by Sections

I have multiple sections of students using one discussion board. They are restricted from interacting with other students who are not in their section and yet all the students appear in the same board when I view it. I would love a filter that would allow me to view the student responses, one section at a time.

Yes please!  This would be a huge help! 

Also, the ability to select multiple sections on a filter basis (e.g. Sections 1, 2, 6 & 7, but not 3, 4, 5).

We have teaching teams that access all sections to view (learn, oversee, develop teaching style, etc), but primarily only teach in certain sections.  So they primarily only want to see their own sections' discussions, but want to be able to view others when needed.
