Image insertion within PDF annotation

I need for students to be able to post images (copy and paste) within the annotations of a PDF feature.

Are your students using the Canvas Student app to make annotations on the PDF you provide (How do I submit a PDF assignment with annotations in the Student app on my iOS device?)? That will help us narrow this down to a request for an additional feature in the annotation toolbar on the student mobile apps.

Yes they are using the app to make annotations.  Adding an image would be a great addition to the toolbar.

THe need to paste a picture into a pdf or google document that is a pdf.
