In an effort to curtail cheating on exams, a British university has created chemistry exams with a unique data set for each student -- making it impossible for students to share answers. The data sets are automatically generated. In this case, the exams were completed on paper and scored by hand.
Taking this process a step further, I am suggesting a new capability for Canvas quizzes to automatically generate individualized quiz questions based on parameters set by the instructor/designer. Scoring would be automated as Canvas would evaluate the correct answers for each student.
