Insufficient Contrast Ratio - dates for recent accouncements in course homepage

Problem:

The text for the dates under Posted on: for recent announcements in course homepages has a contrast ratio of 3:1 (Foreground: #8B969E, Background: #FFFFFF).

However, the text size is only 14px - and with those colors it is not large enough to meet the WCAG 1.4.3 requirement for regular-sized text. In order to meet the 3:1 requirement the text size has to be a certain size, according to WCAG:

Solution:

Instructure could just simply change the text color here to black #000000.

No, it was in the Standard UI.
