Kiss (Keep it simple stupid) “parent addition”

From a parent point of view I want to know very specific things. I only need to dig deeper if something is wrong. While I imagine what I am about to propose could be modified to be useful for teachers also, I care most about being able to get actionable parenting information without a huge amount of effort. To that end, I need a simple export to spreadsheet. The spreadsheet report should have the following columns:

student, teacher/subject, assignment, points, turned in/not turned in, due date, grade if any, for the super helpful teachers, they could add some clue about the level of effort in hours that it is expected to take so that we know if it is a 2 month project or a 30 minute quiz.

Thats it. I don’t want to click four layers deep in 8 different classes. I don’t want to mess around with dash boards and home screens. I’m not in middle school, and have no desire to go back. I just need the information necessary to help keep my kids on track.

I think that this feature could be simply in the Agenda view.

For observers to be able to view their child's progress before the due date, how many tasks have been completed, how many still need to be done.

Our observers feel that their account is not comprehensive enough and so are constantly logging in as the student and skewing the data for their course participation.
