Let students mark as "return to"

When setting module requirements, all students to "mark as done" or "mark as return to" and give them a yellow check mark on the module instead of green so they know to return to something. This would allow students to keep working through the module when they get stuck on one particular task that they would like to come back to, while still being able to continue working "in sequential order" on other tasks.

@ChristieLynn this is a tough one because we would never use color to indicate meaning (accessibility reasons).  So right now it is the image of the checkmark that is intended to create meaning.  I do however see there is a differentiation problem you are trying to solve here, so maybe that's where the conversation can continue to flow and focus, 'why is it important to differentiate 'done' from 'return to'? !

I think letting students mark their place in this way, or mark things they want to return to, would be useful. Perhaps letting them "star" an item would suffice for both of these, like flagging an email.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
