Lockable Assignment Groups within Course



We use Assignment Groups for managing what assessments get brought into our external report writing systems and as such would find the ability to lock assignments very valuable to be able to be done by the blueprint managers or by the Admin staff. 

At present we are battling with Staff who will rename, alter or remove required assessments by accident because it is so easy to change modify these groups. 

We have investigated try to lock down permissions so that they cant modify these assignments but haven't found a way at this point without hamstringing the teaching staff from controlling their classes they way they want to. 

If there is a way to do this with the current systems please let me know.

We would like a way to lock down the Assignment Groups as well for our district.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
