Make student comments to videos anonymous

Please make the option for an instructor to set comments from students to be anonymous for studio lecture videos to other students but the instructor can see the student name. With the huge push to online learning right now this feature is more important than ever. Students won't comment when it shows their name for fear of posting a "dumb" question. Worried about anonymous inappropriate comments? Just give the instructor a hide/flag button for each posted comment.

Other platforms can do this - catch up Canvas! How hard can it be to make that functionality?

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
