Message Students Who (Adding Observer Role Option)

Adding an option to include the observer role into the “message students who” feature inside of the Gradebook. Adding an observer role option would give teachers the opportunity to message students and their parents/guardians about assignment/quiz status in one place. This would be a valuable workflow addition to teachers who are trying to contact students and parents about grade status.

Please work on adding this as an option.  As a school administrator, I work with teachers daily in w/questions regarding their Canvas courses and this comes up regularly.  Teachers want to know why they can't message the parents in addition to the students.  Some teachers have found tedious work arounds.  It would be more efficient if we could add this option to the drop down.  Please consider this upgrade.  Thank you.

Adding this feature would reduce the duplicate emails that must be sent out (Canvas to students and Outlook to parents).  PLEASE add this..
