I think it would be helpful to have the the "Missing" tag automatically be removed once the Available "Until" Date put on the assignment has been reached.
Our K-12 district relies on "missing" status data to inform students, parents and student support staff of student participation which affects student grades. Removal of the status after the due date would remove this important indicator of engagement.
