Moderate this quiz - offer batch (bulk) feature

Faculty often have several students in each course who are allowed extended time for tests and quizzes due to disability accommodations. It is extremely inefficient to page through the entire roster for each individual quiz/exam to moderate for these students (e.g., scrolling through hundreds of names to identify the 13 with accommodations, and then enter either 150% or 200% extra time depending on the accommodation). Is it possible to allow faculty to moderate quizzes (offer extended time or multiple attempts) based on the student ID so that it applies for every quiz/exam all semester?

This would be very helpful. I have frequently have students with accommodations. The accommodations are always the same (double time). It would be very helpful to allow for double time on every single quiz that these students take throughout the entire course.

Thanks for sharing this idea. This capability is developed and available in New Quizzes; an instructor can add extra time for a specific student across all of the quizzes in a course. Please read through  How do I add assessment accommodations for a stude...  for details.

Our product teams are no longer developing new functionality on the code base for Old (Classic) Quizzes, which is scheduled for deprecation, so we've archived this idea. The New Quizzes User Group should help you get started with the new quiz tool in your courses. If you don't see the ability to enable New Quizzes in the settings area of your course(s), please reach out to your local Canvas admin for guidance on its availability at your school.
