Multiple Due Dates or Mark Complete after blank amount of submissions in Discussions.

This has been suggested in 5/2015. I am curious as to why it was not implemented. Discussions should be about community and making these changes would assist teachers/professors in building community, making grading easier, and providing an alert or sorts all of which ultimately enables the possibility of successful student outcomes.

The idea you've referenced,  Multiple Due Dates (checkpoints) for Discussions , is part of our Discussions/Announcements Redesign project; it's slated for the third release, as detailed in  Discussions Redesign Early Access  .
