[New Analytics] Provide analytics for observer role

In our Canvas Community we use New Analytics to measure engagement with the resources we offer. Students in the college are automatically added to the community and are allowed to stay in even after graduation as long as they keep their college account up to date. Students who have graduated are moved to an Observer role. 

We would like to differentiate between interactions from Student-level roles and Observer-level roles. 

Please make it possible to measure analytics by role.

I have an admin who offered the following add to this idea:

We'd love to be able to extend the message students who and attach the observer to New Analytics in addition to the gradebook. Since New Analytics has broader course-level options to message the students such as score ranges, any missing assignment, or any late assignment. @StephanieOlson
