New Quizzes: Allow re-uploading answers to quizzes

When students submit their work as pdf documents for quizzes, the instructor needs to download the pdfs for grading. The instructor can download all students' files for grading simultaneously, however, while if with assignments the instructor can then re-upload all graded quizzes simultaneously, with quizzes that option is not available.

Canvas should allow the re-uploading of students' files for quizzes as it does for assignments.#

Yes, having the option to re-upload files for quizzes would be very useful and helpful.

Option to "Download Submissions" and "Re-Upload Submissions" should be available for Quizzes, just as it is for Assignments.

This feature would be great. Especially as one can set a time limit for a quiz and not for an assignment. For example, a quiz could be made available for 2 hours but students would only have 25 minutes to complete within that 2 hour window as best suits them. This cannot be done on an assignment.

Totally agree. This feature needs to be available. Our current work-around is to:

  1. Download all the submissions individually. (Which is so slick, and clean, and nice, and easy.)
  2. Make all the appropriate edits and mark-ups.
  3. Then, to get the feedback to the students, we have to manually uploading each individual marked-up file as a submission "comment".

Major bummer.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
