New Quizzes: Timed quiz questions

It'd be great to design a quiz with timed questions (individually).

Each question could have a different time to be responded, depending on it's complexity.

This could help us running open book exams online.

This is how "practical exams" in science usually work.  An object (model, microscope, specimen etc) is available for a set period and then all of the students rotate to a new station.  Online I'm using uploaded jpegs but really need timing for each question not the whole thing.

We need to be able to set a time limit for individual questions.  Our district will not allow us to lock the browser (and virtual students have phones/ tablets anyway).  With ample time comes ample google searching.  It doesn't seem difficult to add a button where the question is given 30 sec, 45 sec, 1 min, 2 min etc.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
