Notification of survey submission

Please can notification of quiz/survey graded/ungraded submission be created? It would be so helpful for staff to have the ability to switch something on that tells them when students have submitted any form of quiz or survey. 

I'm aware of the make-the-final-question-an-essay workaround, but surely this can't be a difficult thing to create on Canvas? It's not a fundamental change to the system, just notification of participation of assigned work. That can't be too much to ask, right?

@Fraser2 Thanks for sharing this idea. Our product teams are no longer developing new functionality on the code base for Old (Classic) Quizzes, which is scheduled for deprecation—and given that the survey quiz type does not currently exist in New Quizzes, we've archived this idea. 

In the meantime, consider adding your comments and rating to True surveys.
