Notifications of Comments in Speed Grader

When students post a comment (or reply) in Speed Grader, the teacher receives an email/Canvas notification immediately with the comment, and an option to reply directly to the comment through that notification/email.

There's also a one-click navigation to that particular Speed Grader page with the assignment.

Yes, that's pretty much how it works. 🙂 When I was teaching, I found these external notifications to be invaluable. Teachers can customize their notifications to receive students' comments on assignment submissions via email right away, as detailed in How do I set my Canvas notification preferences as an instructor? The default is set to "Send daily," but users can change this to "Notify me right away."
