Option to Include Absent Attendance When Running Roll Call Attendance

Current Situation: Our campus is unable to use Canvas's roll call feature for attendance and financial aid purposes because it does not list the courses/people who have not been recorded. This means that our registrar would have to manually check each course for attendance to verify the roll call, which defeats the purpose of using it.

Suggestion: It would be beneficial if there was a check box that would enable the user to include in the list those who have no attendance marked for them, either in the main sheet or a separate one. Then it would be easy to follow up with those professors who have not submitted attendance yet.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
