Currently, instructors and students have been having issues uploading and downloading files submitted
Communication through instructions is not enough as some students still gloss over them or may not know how to check file sizes.

Thanks for sharing this idea. The ability to upload a file to an online assignment is part of the Assignments tool; files uploaded to a quiz impact the file upload question type in New Quizzes. As these are two separate features within Canvas, these would have to be considered in separate conversations.
