Option to mute Zoom meeting notifications and Swipe to Archive/Delete
Please add a toggle where students can mute incoming Zoom notifications.
Zoom meeting updates, deletions, and recording notifications clog up the inbox and cause students to miss pertinent announcements. It unnecessarily notifies students several times for each tweak a meeting has, not only clouding up email inboxes but also Canvas inboxes.
This is a huge issue expressed by many of my peers as well. The only “fix” is to mute conversations and this causes students to miss announcement notifications that actually require action WHILE still clouding up the Canvas inbox.
Please add the toggle so that our Canvas messages can be cleaned up and better organized. If possible please also add a swipe to delete or swipe to archive and delete feature on the Canvas Inbox in the app. Currently there is no way to archive a message through the app which is a bit bothersome.
