Option to use a comma (",") as the decimal separator for Canvas in Spanish

Hey all,

One of the problems we have with Canvas in Spanish is that the decimal separator is a full stop/period (".") rather than a comma (","). For professors and students alike this a cause of much confusion—whether it be entering grades or responding to questions with numbers in quizzes.

In the case of professors, often they assume it is not possible to enter grades with decimals as the text-field validation prevents them from entering commas all together.

¡Esta es una excelente idea!

Como bien dice @_mk, genera mucha confusión el símbolo de separación de comas, al punto de que un estudiante puede responder mal a su examen, lo que obviamente es crítico y debe ser resuelto a la brevedad posible.

De acuerdo, pero debería tener la opción, ya que en México usamos el punto para los decimales y la coma para separar millares y a
