Pass Outcome Results from New Quizzes to Canvas

Standards based graded (a.k.a. Outcomes) is becoming more and more prevalent in education.  We use formative and summative assessments to determine whether outcomes (standards) are met.  Quizzes.next is the PERFECT tool to assess outcomes.  However, Canvas is our grade system and if we are grading based on outcomes, the outcome information from Quizzes.Next MUST be passed back to Canvas.  At this point we have to check outcomes that are aligned with assignments and those that are aligned with Quizzes.Next separately.  That just is counterintuitive when Quizzes.Next will soon be the Quiz tool in Canvas.  Please, please vote this up so it can be done soon!!!  The capability is there!  It just needs to make the priority list.

Here are some pictures describing the request/problem.  We just need the outcomes that are in Quizzes.Next to also show up in the Mastery Gradebook since that is where we are checking the Outcomes.  At the present time, they are not passed back to Canvas and cannot be viewed as being "met" in Canvas.

As a community college district, we use outcomes for General Education Student Learning Assessment for our accreditation. It is necessary for our admins to be able to run the Outcome Results report to gather that data from our subaccounts. We hope that this feature is available by May of 2022.

It is great to tie Outcomes to quiz items in New Quizzes. 

Can we please get those scores to feed into the Learning Mastery Gradebook?????

Really need to see their progress over time on the standard.

The ability to align outcomes to specific questions in New Quizzes and to entire exams in New Quizzes is a great feature; however, it is frustrating that those alignments do not report beyond the quizzes itself. The Outcome Alignment should reflect in the Learning Mastery Gradebook. As it is, I have to add a separate rubric to the quiz and assess via that rubric. This is a cumbersome extra step.

Any idea on when items aligned to Outcomes in NewQuizzes will be able to generate into the Learning Mastery Gradebook? I know assignments and discussions can be aligned to a rubric, but when individual items are aligned to a question they do not populate into the Learning Mastery Gradebook. We are following standards deeply and wanting these individual items to generate.

Can we get this update soon?  It would be hugely important to our school network to be able to pass the outcomes from the New Quizzes to the learning mastery gradebook (otherwise what is the point of having them incorporated in New Quizzes to begin with?)

This is badly needed for our HLC accreditation process. We need to be able to have an outcomes report that shows the outcome results across all courses where it is aligned; even in single questions in a quiz.
