Permission option to remove/manage select user groups

It would be helpful if there was a permission/sub-permission that could be granted to roles to remove specific course roles from courses. The '<User Group> add / remove in courses' permission does not work for SIS imported course users. So when a role does not have the permissions necessary to manage SIS data, they are unable to remove teachers and other course roles added through SIS imports. This creates a situation where the 'SIS Data - manage' permission would need to be enabled for roles that need to remove SIS course users. However, the 'SIS Data - manage' permission is far more permissive than just user removal. Perhaps the '<User Group> add / remove in courses' permission could include and/or have separate checkboxes for SIS vs Manual users?

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
