Print from file preview

It should be possible to print a document or file directly from the embedded file preview in an assignment etc without having to download the file to the computer and open it.

I agree this is needed. Students used to be able to print a PDF directly from the Preview... without all the additional clicking to download, wait, open it in Reader, then print. There use to be a print icon (along with Download icon) right in the menu bar for the Preview... can that come back?

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
