I would love to have a way to make private notes about students using canvas. For example, I just received an accommodation letter for a student and I'd like to note this within Canvas, just so it's all in one place.
Teachers can use the Notes column, visible only to them, in their gradebooks to store this kind of private information about their students for ready reference. How do I use the Notes column in the Gradebook? details how to enable the column.
Since this is already possible, we've archived the idea.
