Quick Link Alternative to To-Do List

Hello!

One thing that would be very useful would be an option to add a Quick Links widget on the right-hand side. This would give visual separation from the left nav, which is more centered on things that can be opened/accomplished within Canvas. The Quick Links would instead be for created links to external sites that are useful to students.

Ideally, there would be an option for a teacher to choose widgets that appear on that right side. I could choose to turn off To-Do List and turn on Quick Links. Or if someone prefers, they could choose to show both.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
