Replace a file

If you have a file uploaded and it is referenced in several places on Canvas, there is no default way of updating it without breaking the links. There is a hacky way -- if you try to upload a file with the same name it will ask you if you want to replace the file, but there is no option to click on a file and say "replace" it. Please add it. This seems like a simple and basic feature.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
