Please consider restoring student and faculty Canvas support via phone calls. The chat system is a step backward and definitely souring me on Canvas.
Institutions decide the level of support they wish from Canvas, so if this is something you'd like to see restored, please ask your local Canvas admin.
This isn't exactly correct. I've used the Canvas chat support help a lot over the last 3 years. This year it's become non-functional and an incredible waste of time. It doesn't provide info as to your spot in line and nobody ever shows up. My district spends a lot of money on Tier 1 support and I'm really disappointed that this feature has been rendered useless.
