Searching for groups is slow in student view
On courses with many groups, viewing and searching among groups takes unacceptably long time for our students.
Example:
1. Act as a student and go to the People tab on a course with many groups and many subgroups
2. Write something in the search bar
3. First, the blue spin appears for a few seconds, then the page will be white for quite some time before the groups appear. Many students leave the group page when the blue spin disappear instead of waiting for search results.
Can you optimize this function so searches for groups go faster or, at least, that the blue spin is visible until the search is finished?
