As a student, I would like to be able to see which assignments I have submitted and/or the date/time of when I submitted them on the gradebook screen.
Please add a Submitted and the date to the student Grades menu. Currently, when students click on Grades, it takes them to a list of their assignments. They have to click on an assignment to find out if they have submitted. It would be much easier if, under each assignment title, it listed the word: Submitted, and the date, if the assignment has a submission. This would make it much easier for me to monitor my middle school student's work, without having to click through each assignment, or rely on his memory.
Having it labeled like in the following screenshot would make it much easier to see at a glance, if you or your student has already made a submission for an assignment.
@garverk That's exactly what I was thinking!
It would sure make things a lot easier, as a student, or as the parent of a student in younger grades.
As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
