Semester Tests

When you give a semester test that counts for 10% of the total semester grade, it would be nice if there was a quick and easy way to program that into the gradebook. Right now our teachers have to create an assignment group called "Semester Test" and then configure the weighted grades. Even configuring the weighted grades is a pain because you have to manually figure out every assignment group's weight. If they have 7 assignment groups besides Semester Test, they have to give the Semester Test group 10% and then take 90% divided by 7 and put that in for the other groups. It would be nice if this process was made simpler, even if you could say weight all the groups equally except make the 1 group worth 10%.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
