Slow animation in navigationbar

Example opening courses has a little animation that you havee to wait for until you can click the correct course. 
Going to the right tab in a course takes a few clicks like: Course, CourseName, Modules, ModuleName; so having a slow animation is a little annoying, especially if you open and close Absalon a lot.

Thanks for sharing this idea. Would you please provide some clarification, and perhaps a screencast? It's not clear what animation the description references; when I click on items in the global navigation, the desired item displays in my browser immediately, so you might be experiencing an issue with the speed of your internet connection. Additionally, "Absalon" is not a term used by Canvas; is that the name of your school?

We'll keep the idea in Moderating status in the meantime.
