[SpeedGrader] Removal of timestamps from 'Download Annotated PDF'

Problem statement:

Instructors have found that the 'Download Annotated PDF' button results in a PDF that includes timestamps against when each comment or annotation is left. When viewed within Adobe Reader (and maybe also other PDF viewers) the timestamps are clearly visible within a Comments box. It is felt that this information is superfluous to the student and also a bit intrusive for how staff work.

Proposed solution:

Unless there is a clear outweighing reason for why timestamps are needed (and we would guess that in the far majority of cases this information is not needed) then Canvas/DocuViewer should not report timestamps against each comment

Agreed. The return date is sufficient enough with regard to grading procedures.

The Product Team reviewed all feature proposals recently, and unfortunately, this thread was identified as one that they would not be able to include in their current or future plans. While we appreciate your proposal, we also want to be transparent about the likelihood of something like this making it to production.
