I LOVE using MasteryPaths. However, my district is moving to standards-based grading next school year. I would love to be able to tie MasteryPaths to outcomes and rubrics rather than points.
Hi Kristin, Canvas MasteryPaths can be an excellent tool for your course's specification grading. Tied the learning outcome with a rubric for your assessment, and it will help your students know what they need to approach.
Canvas has already the Mastery levels, so why not just use these instead of points. As mentioned elsewhere, the point grading really defeats the idea of having Mastery where we rather want to check that ILO are fulfilled...
As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
