Student annotation allow groups to be assigned.

I love student annotation ability but I do not like that groups can not be assigned or use this option.  It is very time consuming to individually add students to lessons when I use this type of submission.

I enjoyed using Hypothes.is during our Zoom conferences, so assigning annotations to small groups is an ideal way to provide more interactivity to thoe sessions. I thought the Canvas annotation tool was available for group work, so I'm a bit disappointed to see here that it isn't. 😔

This would be a great feature, instead of using an external tool that takes students out of Canvas and into yet another learning tool.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
