Student grades for students not enrolled in my classes

We would like to see a feature where teachers can check the grades of students not enrolled in their own personal classes.

Unless I'm not understanding your feature idea, it sounds like adding the teacher(s) as an Observer of the student would resolve this. Are you familiar with the functionality of the Observer role and do you think that would work for your school's needs? If not, can you edit your feature idea to provide some more information and some examples or use-cases? Thanks!
