Students should be able to write Notes for an Assignment

Students should be able to write Notes for an Assignment because if a student has an idea for an assignment but want to save it for later they will not be able to do that. So there should be a notes option that students can type into in the assignment's page that can be saved, retrieved, and edited.

In course learning modules, it would be beneficial for the students to have the ability to add notes for study purposes (like sticky notes). Then when they go back and study the content, the notes they took are readily available. It would make the learning experience more engaging and more convenient for the student.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
