Sub-Account: Course Visibility

Allow a course to be set visibility to a specific Sub-Account.

I am creating resources for our K-12 county, I want to make a course visibility for everyone in the "County Resources" sub account. This would prevent access from students who are not enrolled in that sub-account.

This could have many uses when you don't want everyone in the institution to have access, but you don't want to enroll all of the group (in this case the faculty) in the course.

This is also very useful in Higher education where we often want course visibility within a faculty or institute.

Comments from Instructure

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
