Thanks for sharing this feedback, @CClaycomb . We'll move this forward for broader discussion in this forum, and recommend that you discuss this with the local admin for your school so they can let Infinite Campus know of this need.
It would be nice if the comments that students receive via feedback from the teacher through speed grader or the grade book passed back to infinite campus. The grades as well as missing assignments do, comments should also.
Students use canvas for completing and turning in tasks. As a teacher I grade in canvas and provide feedback in canvas. However, our school uses infinite campus and many students and parents just view grades here and aren't using canvas. It would be nice if parents could see these comments.
I have copied comments over into infinite campus, however, the comments are erased the next time I sync from canvas to infinite campus (also it is timely to copy over comments)
As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
