Test vs. Beta installation alert message at bottom of screen

Currently the alert message for both Test and Beta installation sites read "Canvas Test Installation" in the message that appears at the bottom of the screen. It would be helpful if the message were changed to "Canvas Beta Installation" for beta so that those with multiple installation windows open at the same time could leverage this larger visual distinguisher to help quickly identify the installation rather than needing to keep checking the URL.

I would support this change.

@a_titherage, another option would be to use different browsers. I generally use Chrome and Firefox for production, but use Google Canary and FireFox nightly (or any different browser) for the Test and Beta instances, this way I never do something in the wrong browser/instance.

I completely agree. It's been bugging me for a while that the text doesn't match the actual name the installation!

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
