View all overdue assignments per student

(13)

I would like to view all overdue assignments. Ideally, it is filtered based on Student and then based on Course. As it is today, I have to 1) Select the Course flyout, scroll to the bottom and select All Courses (because this is the only way I can figure out how to see all courses at one time). 2) Then click on each desired Course 3) Then click on Assignments link to view the Overdue. 4) Manually write down each assignment.

It would be such a time saver to view all Overdue assignments for each student (because I don't want to see my 9th graders assignments mixed in with my 6th grader) and then view based on Course.

I was relying upon the Dashboard view of assignments to see Courses and missed 3 for one student. This is resulting in  missing 8 overdue assignments = meltdown for student and parent.

As a parent with 4 students using Canvas, I agree that this feature is needed and would be helpful. In the fall, my 4 kids will have over 30 classes in Canvas. This is more than I can see on the dashboard. It is very time consuming to click into each class to view assignments to try to determine what is due.

Currently a teacher can get a missing assignment report for their course. We would like our teachers to be able to see what work students are missing in all of their courses.

Solution idea: Add a report or similar feature where a teacher can click on a student's name and get a list of assignments that individual student is missing in ALL of their courses (not just the teacher's course).

At the K-12 level communication is key. As teachers, we want to work as a team to help identify kids with missing work and help them get it completed, even if it is not for our course. Having the ability to view the missing work across courses, would be extremely beneficial in helping us accomplish this goal within Canvas instead of entering this data in outside programs so all teachers can view it.

Absolutely agree with @CarlaD07 - a simple way to see one student and all of their missing assignments from all courses would be fabulous.  Going course to course is just not practical.  It should be available to Observers, Instructors and Student, not just an Admin or Instructor.

This would be so helpful to our parents and our teaching support staff.  We urgently need this.  Thanks.

Teachers and admin are in desperate need of this. The current system of looking up a student's grades class-by-class is clunky and time-consuming. Please find a way for staff to easily see a students' grades  across all of their classes early in 2021.

As a support specialist (9th Grade Transition Coordinator), whose job it is to help students stay on-track for on-time graduation, I normally have access to reports that show student grades in real time. Because Canvas does not synch with our Synergy system, nor has similar reports of it's own, I have been unable to access this critical information during the 2020-21 school year. Please, Canvas, if you can develop a way to show us this essential data, it will give us crucial information we need. Help us help our students. We need to see all student grades, all in one place. And, a report to show all students' past due work would be handy too.

This would be helpful for parents and advisory teachers.

This is a much needed feature.  I am surprised to see that we still don't have it 20 months after @jagee25 proposed the idea!
