let us change the full, display, or sortable name for canvas student! i put in my full name (first middle & last) when signing up for my community college’s canvas and now i can’t change it!!
The instructions for changing profile information are in How do I edit my profile in my user account as a s... - Canvas Community . The permission that allows users to change their name is controlled by the school based on their enrollment policies. Please contact the local Canvas admin for your college directly to request a name change.
