rewards to boost engagement in conversations and discussions

On top of e-badges, it would be great if we could set up some reward system to enable students to earn rewards when posting stuffs on conversations and discussions.
The idea came from students who use Discord notably.
They want to earn unique tags, stickers and animated emojis.

Again, if conversations are not at the same level as the trendy chat apps, they tend not to use this feature on Canvas and favour private discussions on these apps.

Students also mentioned Snapchat's charms as an example (badges linked to friendship/ interaction between people and badges linked to activities).

That could be useful in Canvas to favour engagement.

I won't mention the badges linked to astrology 😉
