It's hard to have a back-and-forth conversation in Canvas. Being able to "@" people would help. This needs to be in ALL the places that have commenting functions: the announcements (which don't currently seem to have any mechanism to let people know about replies), discussion boards & comments on videos.

Yes, our students are asking for tagging people, but also adding any king of tags like in Social media (#school, #games, #event, etc)
