Whiteboard Options in Canvas

I have an instructor who went to a demonstration of a whiteboard feature found in Google Classroom in the app LIVE. What she wants to do is use a whiteboard app integrated with Canvas during a class lecture...the entire class would participate. It takes the place of the physical white boards in the room. The instructor writes on their personal tablet in the app and the students can see it in the app that is open on their desktop/tablet/smart phone. At the end of lecture, the student can save the entire white board content.

I have created a long list of "whiteboard" apps but I'm hoping so save time testing them myself and leverage the collective genius of this group.

This is amazing!

I got this and am wondering if I have to use the pen (or whatever} to write on the board or am I able to type things on there?  When I write with the pen it looks like I am four years old and learning to write.  Thanks!

I have embedded a whiteboard using this code.

<p><iframe src="https://sketch.io/sketchpad/" width="920" height="640"></iframe></p>

It's a little clunky for kids to save their work, but then they can upload it for an assignment.

Thanks for the response! Awwapp is my #1 choice but the free version does not allow the instructor to turn of student collaboration. It's a tall order and it seems for most the free version always has some limitation, as I suppose it should for the company to encourage purchase of the product.

I like www.awwapp.com the best. They even have a video on how to embed the board in a Canvas page.
