Hiding assignment submissions from students.

I am an instructor.
I give students assignments through Canvas but once they submit them they can click on Submission Details to see what they submitted. Usually I wouldn't care that they could see what they turned in but now students are copying their answers and sharing them amongst themselves. Is there a way to make an assignment where is hides the student's answers after they submit? I know you can this on quizzes, I'm wondering about assignments specifically.

Unfortunately there is not a way to hide Assignment Submissions from students. And once student submissions have been made, you won't be able to Unpublish the assignment.
Students can only view their latest submission so you could ask they upload something after so they only see that document. I am very sorry for any inconveniences! Please don't hesitate to reach back out with any other questions or concerns!
