Simcheck (Turnitin) will not check SOME PDFs

Hi, all - 

I have one student who submits PDFs that Simcheck will not check.  PDFs work for other students, but hers always show as clocking.  I can see and annotate her file - I just can't get a similarity score.  I've tried the "resubmit to Simcheck" button, but nothing happens.  Any ideas?

It’s Maryna, Community Manager from Turnitin. I am sorry for taking so much time to get back to you. Did you manage to fix the issue described? 

It sounds like the student is submitting a pdf that SimCheck doesn't support. Can you verify that the file contains text (and not just images) and recreate the file using Adobe? If you still don’t get a report, please raise a support ticket and provide the file you are trying to submit.

No, I didn't.  The student is now saving her .pages file as a .docx, so we have a workaround, but the pdf (which yes, is text) never did work.

Thank you for your response and clarification. The best solution would be to raise a support ticket and provide the file your student was trying to submit.
