Test Student

I teach second grade. I would like to assign my assignments just to the Test Student so that I can make videos to model exactly how it will work when the students do the assignments.

Unfortunately, you cannot assign the "Test Student" to your assignments.  You can only assign students who are actually enrolled in your course to assignments.  So, if you do not want to use the "Test Student" role to record your videos, you might need to reach out to your school's local Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning/eLearning department to see if they'd be willing to provide you a "dummy" student login so that you could make your videos the way you want.
