New Quizzes Grading

In New Quizzes, questions that need graded and late submissions don't show up on the teacher to-do list. The only way to access it is through the grade book and going to speed grader. This has resulted in missing points for students since I am not notified as the instructor that a new submission has been made. I love the variety of question types that can be used with new quizzes, but this bug makes me wary of using it. I am curious as to why this happens because other external tools do show up to be graded on my to-do list.

this is a terrible bug and it means we struggle to use the feature.  I am trying to change back and am now having trouble with that...
